This flemish 16th century painting is made by a follower of Adriaen Isenbrandt.
It represents the kneeling Christ figure praying in the garden of Olives, 3 of his disciples are in a deep sleep behind him.
In the background we see the walls of a city, probably Jerusalem.
On the back an old label with an old attribution to Adriaen Isenbrandt.
Painted on oak wood.
Good condition
Housed in a 20th century Renaissance frame.
